Student Details

This Test is to be attempted after you have successfully accessed your enrolment linkand completed your enrolment form, prior to your attendance in the Virtual Classroom Session. Detail on the enrolment link and your Learner Management System Access (Moodle) are provided in your Confirmation of Enrolment Email.

Assessment Description:

This PA 1 Test is designed to assist you in the development of the knowledge required to competently Provide First Aid to casualties.

This is NOT the only assessment required in the completion of HLTAID004 Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting

To Successfully achieve, you must successfully complete Assessment PA1 Test(this assessment) 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 and 8

(Assessments 1,2,4,6 and 8 part 1 are completed at your Completion Session)

Student Instruction:

This assessment is to be only attempted and submitted after your submission of the PA 1 Test.

Additional resources to assist you in successfully completing this assessment will be located in your Learner Guides, that are present in your Moodle Account. Reminder- you have been provided with the login details within the Confirmation of Enrolment Email.

Once you have accessed and read all associated material on Moodle, please attempt all questions and submit your responses for marking.

If successfully completed, your trainer will contact you within 7 days and allow you to participate within the Virtual Classroom Session.

Result and Feedback

This assessment will be marked by your trainer. You will receive feedback about your performance in the assessment from your trainer:

• By email or via phone communication with our trainer.


You will receive one of the following results:

  • Satisfactory – achieving this result and meeting all other course requirements will mean that you have met the requirements of the course. As a guide, you will have to achieve a result of 100% in order to achieve this outcome. Most students will achieve this result at first sub-mission attempt
  • Not Yet Satisfactory – achieving this result for this test will mean that you will be required to re-attempt prior to your participation within the Virtual Classroom Session. As a guide, a result of 60 - 80% will result in this outcome.
  • Needs Further Training - achieving this result for this test will mean that you will be required to undertake further training BEFORE being able to participate in the Virtual Classroom Session. As aguide, a result of below 60% will result in this outcome. You will need to further re-visit and study your Learner Guide andre-submit your test for marking.

Your trainer will mark your tesr and may follow this with verbal clarification via phone or via the support email: FirstaidsupportNSW@Licences4work.com.au) if required (in case you can improve your answer with limited assistance of the trainer)

Appeals and Complaint

If you disagree with your trainers marking of your test, then you may request a review of your test paper. Please refer to your Student Handbook for further information about appeals.

Reasonable Adjustments

If you require adjustments to this test, then please discuss this with your trainer before commencing this assessment.
