TC COURSE SUMMARY
This course is designed for you if:
- 1. You have never worked implementing Traffic Control Plans (BWTM) as a Traffic Controller (TC) or held the required accreditation to undertake these functions OR
- 2. Have average to above average reading, writing, speaking and understanding skills
- 3. Hold a WorkSafe Construction Safety Awareness (Blue/White) Training Card (or equivalent)
- 4. Provide a valid Unique student identifier (USI) (If you do not have a USI please head to www.usi.gov.au and create one in a few short steps) - we can help you with this during your course.

Access your course online
You will get access to all the required reading course materials. You will find the course much easier if you read and try to understand the learning materials BEFORE you come in.
Attend for days 1 & 2 (8:30am until 4:30pm)
This involves further theory training / assessment at our training centre as well as practical training at our purpose prepared Practical Training Site*.You must be dressed for the practical traffic control work environment:
We will provide you with the safety vests required!
You will need to wear long pants, closed shoes and a long sleeved (preferable) shirt. You will not be allowed to wear hooded jumpers, singlets, shorts, thongs We recommend you bring a hat and bring some sunscreen - be sun aware!
Receive your Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment (SOA)
Once you have met all the training and assessment requirements you will receive your Statements of Attainment (SOA) for the Units:
RIICOM201D Communicate in the workplace
RIIWHS205D Control traffic with a stop / slow bat
Receive your MRWA Photo ID cards
