Fees and Refunds for Advanced Forklift Course

  • Payment of the $100 Booking Fee must be paid to secure your place. Please contact our office on (02) 9708 0144 to pay your booking fee via credit card. The remainder of your fee is payable on the day (on day 1 before starting).
  • For Website Portal Bookings, payment of full fee is only available. (Refunds do apply to amounts paid over the $100 Booking Fee).
  • If a booking is cancelled by you with at least 7 days notice we will refund any fees paid (the booking fee or the balance) and retain $50 for recovering our cost of preparation and materials.
  • If you cancel within 7 days then you will lose your booking fee of $100.
  • If you do not turn up on the day then you lose all fees paid, if you have paid your booking fee only then you will be sent an invoice for the remaining amount.
  • If you reschedule with more than 7 days then there no fee. This applies once only. After that a $150 reschedule fee applies.
  • If you reschedule with less than 7 days notice then there is a $150 rescheduling fee and all other amounts must be paid to secure your booking.
  • On confirmation of your booking, we will send you your pre course preparation materials. These materials are not mandatory however we are in the opinion that they will assist you in your efforts.
  • Advanced Courses are available and commence Monday, Wednesday and Saturday’s. Other days may be available.
  • Advanced Course is run over 1 ½ days consisting of 1 training days (TD1) and an Assessment Day (AD)
  • All Advanced Courses have a theory, practical and final assessment component.
  • On the first day participants must arrive 15 minutes prior to the advertised/informed starting time.
  • In the event you are running 10 minutes or more late on the first day and are not allowed to enter there will be no refund and a $150 rescheduling fee applies (as well as any balance that you were required to pay).
  • Apart from this, there are no refunds except in genuine emergencies such as illness. In these cases, we may ask to see evidence such as a medical certificate before granting a refund. (Please note, that you will lose your $100 booking fee but no rescheduling fee applies)
  • If you, do not have the correct ID, or do not wear the correct clothing as required, you will not be admitted. A rescheduling fee of $150 applies.
  • If, at the completion of the training session(s) you feel you are not yet ready to sit for your assessment, or the trainer feels your are not ready to sit for the scheduled the assessment you may:
    1. Not sit your scheduled assessment and sit the following weeks assessment (1 week later) at no extra fee or;
    2. Attend further training day(s) or night(s) at $45 per 3 hour session (3 practical or 3 hour theory session).
  • If you fail your assessment on Assessment Day (AD) and wish to sit another (AD) you will be required to wait at least 21 days from your original (AD) and no longer than 90 days from the original (AD) at the cost of $220 or ($100 for Theory Assessment Only or $100 for Practical Assessment Only).
  • Just Careers Training (trading as Licenses4 Work) reserves the right to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances. Should this occur, any fees paid will be refunded in full, or you may reschedule with no additional fees. In such cases, Just Careers Training’s liability will be limited to the amount of fee.
  • Certificates and Statements of Attainment or attendance will not be issued until all fees owing are paid.
